About The Position

Prestige Car Wash and Gas is a family-owned and operated company that has been in business for 30 years. We are growing leaps and bounds and we are looking for hard-working customer service professionals to join our ever-expanding family as Gas Station Attendant. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to perform basic calculations in order to make changes, complete shift reports, and account for a variety of products during vendor check-ins.
Must have the ability to validate Identification prior to selling products such as tobacco and/or alcohol (as per required regulations).
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and carry cases of milk cartons and soft drinks, beer and juice containers through proper lifting techniques.
Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies.
Must be able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
Must have the ability to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in various weather conditions, and in the store).
Must be willing to sit or stand for prolonged periods during your shift.
Flexibility is key, whether it be the days or shifts you are available.

Responsibilities

Provide the best customer experience to every customer.
Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting.
Suggest possible purchases to the customers and promote specials.
Be responsible for the operation of the station during your shift.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company guidelines, policies, and procedures during operation, including minimizing safety risks for all employees, customers, and suppliers.
Communicate verbally and in writing with various management on store operations in a very quick timeline, especially any changes or items that may adversely affect the store's operations.
Manage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store.
Promptly report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses.
Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
