About The Position
Blossman Gas & Appliance is seeking a Gas Service Technician or Apprentice for their new showroom location in Rogers, TX. This is a growth opportunity for individuals seeking a stable career with a large, independent propane company. The role involves installing propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, and installing, servicing, and maintaining gas comfort equipment. Apprentices will utilize their mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn to progress to the Service Technician level. The position requires customer service skills, occasional on-call duty, and teamwork. There is significant growth potential within the company. A strong commitment to safety is essential.
Requirements
- Prior propane experience.
- Prior appliance installation/repair experience.
- Prior mechanical experience.
- Mechanical aptitude (for Apprentices).
- Willingness to learn daily (for Apprentices).
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to work locally in the Rogers, TX area.
Responsibilities
- Install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.
- Install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, generators, and more.
- Provide customer service.
- Perform occasional on-call duties.
- Contribute to a team environment.
- Adhere to a strong commitment to safety.
