About The Position

Aggreko is seeking a Gas Sales Lead in North America to help customers obtain sustainable, clean energy. This role is vital for supporting investment in Gas products within Aggreko's extensive rental fleet and will support sales nationwide. The position involves promoting the Aggreko brand, identifying market opportunities, collaborating with various teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to define the product roadmap, providing specialist input to the sales process, managing the Gas product portfolio, ensuring effective pricing strategies, measuring strategy progress, increasing equipment readiness, supporting training, and ensuring operational readiness for the product. The role requires 30%-40% travel.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of sales experience
  • 3-4 years of experience with Gas power generation equipment a must
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); proven ability to communicate effectively cross functionally within company and the customer.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between the development team and customers.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to identify and develop new business.
  • Ability to effectively implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to interface and demonstrate leadership both internally and externally.
  • Experience working in cross functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent preferred
  • Power Generation industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promoting Aggreko brand and building awareness in the Gas power generation space.
  • Identify market opportunities by engaging with customers and guiding the team towards meeting their goals.
  • Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams in defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and communicating value propositions.
  • Providing specialist input to the sales process by working closely with regional and sector focused teams in building pipeline opportunity and technical knowledge.
  • Managing the Gas product portfolio and understanding rates and usage.
  • Ensure effective pricing strategies are in place that reflect asset strength relative to the competition in each market.
  • Measure and communicate progress on strategy on regular basis.
  • Create accountability within the business to increase equipment readiness.
  • Support and promote training and education initiatives.
  • Works with regional operations leaders to ensure operational readiness for the product.
  • Develops product applications and enables related training.
  • Monitors fleet status and opportunity pipeline and provides input for fleet planning.
  • Travel 30%-40%.
