About The Position

Morrow Renewables is a leader in U.S. landfill gas-to-energy (LFGTE) projects focusing on High-BTU RNG. With over 20 years in Biogas operations and development, Morrow Renewables is continuously targeting opportunities to develop projects for processing LFG to pipeline-grade natural gas. Morrow Renewables can provide a complete solution to recover valuable methane gas for delivery into a nearby natural gas pipeline or for the production of compressed natural gas (CNG), creating numerous benefits for the landfill owner and the surrounding community. Purpose: Responsible for independent operation and maintenance of a renewable natural gas processing plant including but not limited to compression, treating facilities including solvent regeneration, CO2 extraction, gas dehydration, condensate and product storage, truck loading, electrical generation, and other facilities and associated activities. Carries out directions of Plant Manager to ensure optimum plant performance and environmental compliance. Primary Responsibilities: Perform all duties necessary to ensure optimum plant operations ensuring maximum runtime and sales while maintaining high safety standards. The position will require shift work. Typical duties will include monitoring plant operations through computer-based plant interface (HMI), light maintenance (including but not limited to 50 lbs lifting ability, climb ladders) of equipment, shutdown and start-up of the plant, and documentation of operating parameters. Work activities will require outdoor activities in year-round variable weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Must live under 30 minutes away from the Plant.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be capable of vigorous outdoor activities in ALL weather conditions.
  • Mechanical training and practical experience in an industrial operations and maintenance setting.
  • Ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain cryogenic plant equipment, including reciprocating compressors, pumps, exchangers, air coolers, air compressors and related equipment.
  • Manual dexterity with physical ability to work extended hours, climbing, bending, kneeling, working with arms extended above the head, twisting upper body, standing for long periods, walking on catwalks, working in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions, lifting, driving a vehicle, and operation light industrial equipment.
  • Ability to operate hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to work overtime and respond to callouts during off hours.
  • Ability to respond in a timely manner to any emergency.
  • Basic PC computer skills and training in custom software applications used in flow computers, gas chromatograph, plant controls, and process safety management.
  • Must comply with pre-employment and random drug testing and all other company policies and procedures.
