We’re seeking a Gas Measurement Technician to support field-based gas measurement operations in Greeley, CO. In this role, you will perform meter inspections, data collection, calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of gas measurement equipment. You’ll work independently and alongside experienced technicians, following established procedures and safety standards to ensure accurate and compliant data. This position offers hands-on field work and continued skill development in gas measurement systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in gas measurement, field instrumentation, meter calibration, and/or production measurement operations
- Previous experience working with gas measurement systems, flow computers, EFM systems, and RTUs, including meter inspections, calibrations, verifications, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Vocational or technical training in metering, instrumentation, or process control preferred
- Working knowledge of natural gas measurement principles and related documentation strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform field-based gas measurement activities, including meter inspections, calibration, data collection, and routine maintenance
- Verify meter accuracy and ensure measurement systems are operating in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Collect, record, and submit measurement data, field notes, and documentation accurately and on time
- Assist with installation, inspection, and troubleshooting of gas measurement equipment and related instrumentation
- Identify and report measurement discrepancies, equipment issues, or safety concerns
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in proper working condition
- Communicate field findings and work status with supervisors, operations personnel, and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
