We’re seeking an experienced Gas Measurement Technician II to support natural gas measurement operations in Greeley, CO. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated measurement professional to expand their technical expertise, take on increasingly complex field work, troubleshoot measurement and equipment issues, and play a key role in supporting accurate, reliable, and compliant natural gas measurement operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • 2+ years of progressively responsible gas measurement experience
  • Demonstrated experience operating, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting gas measurement systems and instrumentation
  • Proficiency with electronic flow measurement (EFM) software and data systems such as ROCLINK, PCCU, Test-It, or comparable platforms
  • Working knowledge of AGA, GPA, API, BLM, and other applicable measurement standards and requirements
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational or technical training in measurement, metering, instrumentation, or process control preferred
  • Solid knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, and wiring strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine calibrations on gas flow meters and electronic flow measurement (EFM) systems
  • Verify differential pressure, static pressure, temperature, and flow measurement devices
  • Diagnose and resolve measurement discrepancies, communication failures, pressure abnormalities, and inconsistent flow calculations
  • Inspect orifice plates, V-cones, meter tubes, and related measurement equipment
  • Witness and verify third-party custody-transfer calibrations
  • Collect gas samples, perform field analysis as required, and coordinate laboratory testing
  • Retrieve, review, and validate missing, corrupted, or inaccurate measurement data
  • Respond to equipment failures, alarms, callouts, and other time-sensitive field issues
  • Maintain accurate records of calibrations, inspections, repairs, and corrective actions
  • Support new construction, commissioning, system upgrades, and equipment installations
  • Communicate measurement issues and findings to Operations, Engineering, leadership, and third-party partners
  • Assist with training and supporting less-experienced measurement technicians
  • Perform other duties as assigned
