About The Position
By applying to this posting, you are applying for a Labor Grade 4 – Gas Lines Construction Laborer (LG4) position. Candidates must complete a general technical knowledge assessment and a separate one-day “Assess for Hire” orientation, demonstrating the ability to dig and operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Successful completion of both assessments is required for consideration. This posting will expire on September 13th, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successfully pass the “Assess for Hire” orientation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements.
- No more than 3 points on your driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain gas operator qualifications and certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Hard and soft surface restoration (sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping).
Responsibilities
- Assist Gas Lines Construction Workers and Operators in building gas facilities.
- Operate hand and power tools (shovels, rakes, wrenches, drills, hammers, tampers).
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and hand excavation.
- Complete site restoration after construction.
- Other similar duties as assigned.
