Requirements

Hands-on experience operating GC and GC-MS instrumentation.
Competence in sample and standard preparation.
Ability to review data for accuracy and flag anomalies.
Familiarity with chromatography data systems.
Strong attention to detail and good written and verbal communication.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, and other Microsoft products.
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline and 2 plus years of relevant experience OR Associates degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 4 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma with 6 plus years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

Experience with GC instrumentation.
Experience with GC/MS profiling.
Experience in an analytical testing laboratory.

Responsibilities

Perform GC based analyses according to approved methods.
Conduct GC/MS profiling in support of ASAP chemical analysis and related studies.
Prepare samples and analytical standards.
Review analytical results and identify potential issues.
Assist with method qualification and optimization activities.
Flex to support post treatment chemical analysis.
Maintain instrumentation and laboratory documentation.
Support quality and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with laboratory teams to meet project objectives.
Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.
