About The Position

Saskatoon Co-op is seeking a Gas Bar Clerk to join their team. This position reports to the Gas Bar Manager and is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, maintaining the location, operating the till system, and performing daily reconciliations. The role also involves ordering, receiving, pricing, and displaying merchandise, as well as supervising and training staff under the direction of the Station Manager. The Gas Bar Clerk will also perform opening and closing procedures and other assigned duties.

Requirements

Strongly service oriented and capable of assisting and selling to customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
Well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision.
Knowledge and experience in the merchandise handled by the department in order to operate efficiently and effectively in the department.
Able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide pump island assistance as required.
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times.
Have a good working understanding of the till operation (StorePoint system).
Perform the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
Order, receive, price, and display merchandise as required for assigned areas as specified by the Station Manager.
Be familiar with and adhere to all Saskatoon Co-op Policies and Procedures.
Under the direction of the Station Manager, supervise and train staff in the general operation of the location.
Perform opening and closing procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
