About The Position

Saskatoon Co-op is seeking a Gas Bar Clerk for its Warman Gas #316 location. This position reports to the Gas Bar Manager and involves providing outstanding customer service, assisting with operations, and maintaining the location. The role requires a service-oriented individual who can work independently and has knowledge of the merchandise handled. The company is a member-owned business focused on serving its members and communities with a variety of products and services across grocery, liquor, pharmacy, petroleum, home and building solutions, and agricultural supplies.

Requirements

Strongly service oriented and capable of assisting and selling to customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
Well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision.
Knowledge and experience in the merchandise handled by the department in order to operate efficiently and effectively in the department.
Able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
Provide outstanding courteous customer service.
Provide pump island assistance as required.
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times.
Have a good working understanding of the till operation (StorePoint system).
Perform the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
Order, receive, price, and display merchandise as required for assigned areas as specified by the Station Manager.
Be familiar with and adhere to all Saskatoon Co-op Policies and Procedures.
Under the direction of the Station Manager, supervise and train staff in the general operation of the location.
Perform opening and closing procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
