About The Position

Evergreen Co-op is seeking a Gas Bar Attendant to serve members and customers with products and services that help build, feed, and fuel individuals and communities. This role involves dispensing petroleum products, maintaining store and pump island standards, and performing general housekeeping duties. The position requires adherence to all Evergreen Co-op policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and following safe work practices. The attendant will frequently transition between indoor and outdoor environments and work in various weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
Organizational skills and great time management
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada (for example, by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or work permit.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience is an asset
Previous or current retail experience in the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS)
Good eye for detail
Reliable

Strong interpersonal skills
Outgoing and energetic

Responsibilities

Dispensing petroleum products (gasoline, diesel, propane)
Washing windows and lights on vehicles, checking and filling vehicle fluids as requested
Merchandising products according to standards
Maintaining image standards outside the store and by pump islands
General housekeeping duties
Adhering to all Evergreen Co-op policies and procedures
Performing other duties as assigned
Wearing all personal protective equipment and following all safe work practices
Transitioning frequently between indoors and outdoors, as well as, working in all types of weather conditions
