About The Position

Our Taylor Drive Gas Bar is seeking a casual Gas Bar Attendant to join their dynamic team. This position is for less than 24 hours per week and requires availability on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Central Alberta Co-op is participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program, which supports hiring youth aged 15 to 24.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
• Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Dispense fuel and propane with precision – applicable locations
• Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
