About The Position

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a neat and well-merchandised department, and performing various gas bar operations. Duties include servicing vehicles, filling propane bottles, operating the point of sale terminal, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with government standards and regulations. The role also involves completing in-house training, monitoring for merchandise removal, ensuring merchandise quality, following cleaning and maintenance schedules, and adhering to all safety policies and company procedures. This role requires the use of computers and involves heavy lifting of products.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service is an asset
Understanding of our Values (Teamwork, People, Excellence, Community)
Committed to providing excellent customer service to our member-owners as well as internal customers
Quality communication skills
Ability to work days, evenings and weekends on a rotational basis

Responsibilities

Providing customers with exceptional level of customer service
Provide a neat, clean, fresh and well merchandised department
Servicing vehicle(s), filling propane bottles, attending to car wash, operation of the point of sale terminal
All duties associated with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts
Compliance with government standards and regulations that apply to the Gas Bar
Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses
Alert for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment
Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets the store’s standards
Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules
Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others
Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures
