Requirements
- Hard working with the ability to understand and carry out directions.
- Manages time effectively and is productive without direct supervision.
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Has an eye for detail with specific attention to gardening standards.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, kneel, stand for long periods of time.
- Must pass a background check.
- Be at least 16 years old.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of gardening experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- General gardening, weeding, flower deadheading, planting, pruning, cultivating and topdressing of flower and shrub beds.
- Seasonal flower planting and removal along with pruning of perennials and ornamental grasses.
- Keep garden beautiful by sweeping paths, collecting and emptying garbage, and raking.
- Install holiday lights and other seasonal displays.
- Exemplify Thanksgiving Point’s Mission and Values.
- Other tasks as assigned by manager/supervisor.
