The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America, attracting approximately 1.6 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. With something for everyone, the CNE offers a wide range of attractions and interactive entertainment experiences including: concerts, midway rides and games, shopping, exhibits, tech and gaming hubs, food and wacky treats! Minimum Age Requirements: 14 years
Available to work all 18 days of the fair (August 21 - Sept. 7, 2026) with the exception of scheduled days off
Available to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
Must be available to work rotating shifts. The earliest shift begins at 8:00am and the latest shift ends at 1:00am
Able to attend Mandatory Orientation Session
Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
Ability to engage with guests in a courteous manner
Located in a busy area; constant interruptions
Ability to engage positively with children and their caregivers
Required to dress in appropriate uniform

Nice To Haves

Experience working with young children in group setting is preferred

Responsibilities

Set up and tear down activity stations
Demonstrate program activities to guests
Encourage guests to interact with the activities
Supervise activities
Check activity supplies to ensure adequate availability/quantity and restock when necessary
Ensure that program areas are properly maintained and presentable at all times
Answer basic questions from the general public regarding programming, attractions, facilities and services
