About The Position
Emigh Ace Hardware is looking for a Garden Associate who is focused on providing world-class service to customers and employees. The Garden Sales Associate should have a personality and approach that strongly represents the company's Core Values, along with an enthusiastic, positive, supportive, and sales-focused attitude. This role prioritizes customers over tasks and requires maintaining awareness of promotions and advertisements to inform customers. The associate will continually work on increasing their knowledge of products and their uses, and possess merchandising skills. Knowledge of plants, gardening, native and drought-tolerant species, outdoor power equipment, and soils is preferred, but training will be provided. The ability to help customers with gardening questions is essential.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent or currently in school.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of plants, gardening, native and drought tolerant, outdoor power equipment and soils preferred, will train
- Trade skills accompanied by a personality that will support our Core Values and mission is a plus but will train.
Responsibilities
