About The Position

We are currently looking for an energetic individual who is interested in joining our growing Garden Maintenance team for the summer! Enjoy working outdoors with a great group of coworkers, learning new landscaping skills, and are interested in joining a company that helps employees become the best versions of themselves and grows their careers in landscaping? The successful applicant will work in a small crew assisting with maintaining flower beds using safe edging and cultivating techniques to ensure our clients properties look outstanding throughout the summer months! This is a great position for a student who will be going to or will be returning to school this fall, or someone who is interested in exploring a career in landscaping! Requirements

Minimum 1 season of experience with garden or lawn maintenance experience is preferred
Basic knowledge of plant identification
Excellent communication skills and capable of dealing with a wide variety of people in a polite, positive and cooperative manner.
Hard working
Detail orientated
Safety conscious

Nice To Haves

Valid Driver's License preferred (please note our shop is not located on a public transit route)

Responsibilities

Follow tasks assigned by the crew leader when arriving at site.
Walk site to search for hazards and pick up garbage.
Complete maintenance so garden beds are in pristine condition through pulling unwanted vegetation, edging and cultivating along with other crew members.
Plant, transplant and remove flowers and plants.
Install garden mulch and soil.
Wear PPE and follow all safety expectations.
Help clean out truck of any debris, garbage or brush at the end of each day.
