About The Position
Are you ready to blossom in a fun, fast-paced environment? Join our team at Spikes and Houles in Elk River as we enjoy all that MN offers! We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who loves plants, enjoys working with people, and is ready to help bring the beauty of the season life. Our garden center proudly features plants from Gertens, all Gerten-grown, ensuring top-quality selections for our customers. This is a seasonal position from ASAP to October, weather dependent.
Requirements
- Weekend availability.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in MN weather conditions.
- Flexible availability to work weekdays and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities
- Tend to plants by watering, deadheading, and ensuring they thrive.
- Organize and display plants, products, and seasonal items.
- Assist customers in selecting plants and offer gardening tips.
- Operate the register and process customer purchases.
