About The Position
Join our team this as a Garden Center Sales Associate! We’re looking for passionate individuals who love plants and want to help our customers find the perfect additions for their homes and gardens.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Flexible to work weekdays and weekends.
- A genuine enthusiasm for horticulture and a desire to share that passion with customers.
- A willingness to learn is essential.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a retail or gardening environment is preferred
Responsibilities
- Help customers with plant selections and answer their questions about care and maintenance.
- Identify and diagnose issues such as fungus, pests, or other plant health concerns.
- Maintain the quality of plants and merchandise, ensuring that everything is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Understand various plant types and their specific environmental needs to provide tailored advice to customers.
- Assist in unloading delivery trucks and stocking merchandise efficiently.
