About The Position
Waste Connections is seeking Commercial Drivers (Garbage Truck Drivers) to join their team in Altamonte Springs, FL. This is a full-time, year-round position operating a garbage truck on a specified route. The role involves regular heavy lifting, climbing in and out of the truck, and serving customers safely, efficiently, and courteously. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, resulting in approximately 50-55 hour work weeks.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL.
- At least 2 years of work experience with a stable work history, preferably in a driver position.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial Front Load Driving experience.
