About The Position

The Garage- Fueler - Spotter position requires the ability to back delivery equipment to dock doors, accurately completing tasks using a detailed list of specific equipment sizes and door number assignments. The Spotter/Fueler is responsible for ensuring proper fuel is used for equipment, documenting miles, gallons, and equipment numbers legibly, and maneuvering tractor/trailer combinations through a wash bay and washing the equipment. The role also involves backing delivery equipment to dock doors and recognizing trailer lengths at a glance.

Requirements

• Ability to back tractor trailer to dock doors
• Able to maneuver equipment through narrow wash bay
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Responsible for fueling tractor/trailer
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions
• Must have ability to communicate effectively
• Job requires extensive walking and climbing in and out of vehicles
• Must be flexible to change
• No criminal record
• Must have 6 months heavy equipment truck driving experience
• High School graduate / GED

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation helpful
