About The Position

If you’re mechanically inclined and enjoy helping customers make informed decisions, this role is a great fit. This position involves installing, servicing, and repairing residential and light commercial garage doors and openers. Technicians perform thorough inspections, explain findings and solution options to customers clearly and respectfully, and recommend repairs or upgrades when they truly make sense for the customer. The role also includes documenting work with notes and photos, communicating professionally with teammates and customers, and always prioritizing safety.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn a skilled trade
Comfortable talking with homeowners and explaining solutions (sales experience not required)
Positive attitude, coachability, and strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
Ability to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical work
Strong communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is a plus
Experience with garage doors or ServiceTitan is helpful—but not required

Responsibilities
