About The Position
This is hands-on mechanical work, hot garages and all, not a sales job with some lifting. You'll diagnose the problem, talk to the homeowner like the pro they trust, then fix it yourself. We want someone who puts people first: down-to-earth, dependable, easy to talk to, plus a strong work ethic and the grit to do physical work daily. We'll teach you to sell. Physical work, every day: springs, cables, rollers, openers, motors. You repair and install it all. Lifting 75+ lbs., bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working in 100°F garages and freezing ones. Hands-on from first job to last. Selling isn't optional, it's the job: no sale means no repair, no repair means no paycheck. This is commission-based, so every dollar you make starts with a homeowner trusting you enough to say yes. We'll teach you how to earn that yes. You bring the desire to close.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Valid driver's license with a 3+ year clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, bend, climb, and kneel regularly.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
- Some hands-on mechanical experience or comfort with tools (e.g., home services, auto shops, hospitality, DIY projects).
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, drug test (THC excluded), and driving record check.
- Basic comfort with technology (apps, tablets).
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and payments.
- Willingness to learn sales techniques.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose problems with garage doors.
- Repair and install garage door components including springs, cables, rollers, openers, and motors.
- Communicate with homeowners to explain issues and solutions.
- Perform physical labor including lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
- Work in extreme temperature conditions (hot and cold garages).
- Sell repair services to homeowners.
- Utilize basic tech comfort for apps and tablets for job management and payments.
