We offer a supportive environment where employees are encouraged to grow and contribute to our ongoing success. We are seeking an experienced, dependable Garage Door Installer to join our team. This role installs, services, and repairs residential and commercial garage doors, openers/operators, and related hardware. The successful candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and comfortable delivering professional service at customer job sites.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
  • Previous garage door, construction, mechanical, electrical, or service experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment and complete repairs independently
  • Ability to work at heights, including ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, and standing
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms while performing installation and repair tasks
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. and climbing ladders
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, maintain, and repair residential and commercial overhead doors, operators, and related equipment
  • Diagnose and repair springs, cables, tracks, rollers, drums, hinges, hardware, and operator systems
  • Read work orders, assess job-site conditions, and complete installations and repairs to company quality standards
  • Measure, assemble, align, test, and adjust doors and operator systems to ensure safe, reliable operation
  • Operate hand and power tools, ladders, lifts, and other equipment safely and correctly
  • Load, unload, transport, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment for assigned jobs
  • Follow all company safety procedures, manufacturer instructions, and applicable OSHA requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional job site and company vehicle
  • Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors; explain completed work and recommended repairs
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned
