Requirements

  • At least one year of hands-on experience in field service, installation, construction, or home services.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read instructions, perform basic math, and communicate straightforwardly with customers.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to continuously learn as products and systems evolve.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years of garage door service or installation experience (residential or commercial).
  • Experience with repair or replacement of springs, openers, and hardware.
  • Background in construction trades, field service, or building systems.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential and commercial garage door systems across the Oklahoma City metro.
  • Handle common service needs such as opener malfunctions, spring failures, track issues, and hardware repairs.
  • Identify worn parts, aging systems, and recommend upgrades to customers.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, explain necessary repairs and potential future needs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Install new garage door systems, including hanging panels, setting tracks, tensioning springs, and configuring openers according to manufacturer and safety standards.
  • Manage time, service truck, and job site independently.
  • Safely handle heavy components up to 80 lbs, including springs, panels, and hardware.
  • Represent Eco Garage Door Services professionally and contribute to building a positive company reputation.
