About The Position

Red Mountain Garage Doors is seeking a motivated Garage Door Install Technician, open to both experienced installers and entry-level apprentices, to join their team in the Pelham/Birmingham, AL area. The company focuses on installing and repairing garage doors for residential, commercial, and industrial clients, emphasizing quality craftsmanship, reliability, and a family-like atmosphere. This role involves performing repairs, installations, and troubleshooting, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining documentation, adhering to safety protocols, and identifying customer needs for upselling solutions. The position is field-based and requires independent work, problem-solving, and pride in quality craftsmanship.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and work with hand/power tools.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt to changing situations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset.
Pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings, as well as a Motor Vehicle Record Check.
