Our team is growing, and we are looking for an intern eager to learn the trade and develop hands-on experience in the garage door and gate industry. Job Overview: As a Garage Door & Gate Intern, you will work closely with experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge and hands-on training in garage door and gate repair, maintenance, and installation. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, have strong communication skills, and are interested in developing a skilled trade career.

Requirements

• Interest in learning a skilled trade in garage door and gate systems.
• Enjoy working with their hands and problem-solving.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools.
• Willingness to follow instructions and learn from experienced technicians.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• No prior experience required, but hands-on experience with tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in diagnosing and repairing garage doors and gates.
• Learn to install garage doors, openers, and gate systems.
• Help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections under supervision.
• Learn and follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing tools and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism on job sites.
