About The Position

Responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of all Class II gaming machines. Responsible for a high level of guest service as well as perform repairs on an advanced level. Requirements

Minimum one (1) or more years related experience, training or combination of education and experience.
A degree from a two (2) year college or a diploma from a technical/gaming school and at least one (1) year of Slot Technician experience required; or, have an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Must be able to read operator manuals and complete projects with minimum supervisions.
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to communicate and work with all departments.
Follow all casino policy and procedures.
Progressive keyboard.
Boards containing EPROM chips.
Currency acceptor area of the games.
Currency acceptor cash storage boxes.
Information regarding currency and Class II Gaming Machine tickets.
Diagnostic Screens.
Main Game Configuration Screen.
Clear chip and configuration chip applications.
Game door keys.
Tech room key.
Record Access Cards.
Log Sheets.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on all Class II gaming machines.
Ensure all machines and equipment are in compliance with all NIGC and internal regulations.
Maintain accurate records on pass down logs, PM logs, M.E.A.L. card, etc.
Maintain an accurate attendance record.
Diagnose equipment to the component level.
Read and understand electronic schematics.
Perform all machine installations, conversions, moves and all major repairs of all associated equipment at an advanced level.
Safely and effectively operate shop tool, electronic equipment and soldering equipment.
Answer a call within a 3-minute time frame.
Complete machine moves/setup and release with little supervision.
Handle assigned projects with little supervision.
Understand and use the parts system and communicate with the Tech Supervisor on required parts for repair.
Other duties assigned by management.
