About The Position

Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming is a newly constructed facility in a high-traffic area in Calvert City, Kentucky at the intersection of I-69 and I-24. The Property will feature nearly 240 state-of-the-art historical racing machines (“HRMs”), a sports bar and a retail sportsbook, simulcast wagering, and food and beverage offerings. The Gaming Attendant is responsible for safeguarding gaming assets while delivering outstanding customer service with a heavy emphasis on processing jackpot payouts quickly and accurately. This position plays a key role in creating a fun, engaging gaming experience by assisting guests, supporting marketing promotions, and ensuring compliance with all gaming regulations.

Requirements

• 1 year of customer service experience required
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
• Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.
• Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fun, engaging, and welcoming gaming experience for guests.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects positively on the property and encourages the same from others.
• Provide change to customers promptly and accurately.
• Witness and verify gaming jackpots.
• Perform jackpot payouts and paper fills.
• Make minor repairs to gaming equipment as needed.
• Monitor assigned gaming areas for illegal activity, suspicious behavior, or policy violations, and report findings promptly.
• Be comfortable working in smoking areas for extended periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
