About The Position

The Game Presentation, Intern will learn about the inner workings of how an NFL gameday show is planned, built, and presented. Getting valuable hands-on experience in the control room and in the editing room, creating content for some of the world’s largest videoboards. This role will work closely with the Senior Director of Gameday and Live Events as well as their team. The internship will aim to explore different positions inside the high paced world of an in-venue control room, while providing access to professionals active in the industry.

Requirements

• Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree OR have graduated within 18 months of the internship start date.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have experience in live event production, broadcast production, live sports, or related fields
• Must be eager to learn from others in multiple areas of live sports production
• Must be a proficient editor of fast paced sports in Adobe Premiere
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be available to work on-site in Jacksonville, Florida for entirety of the internship
• Must be able to provide relevant work examples in the form of a reel or gallery
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be excited about live sports productions

Nice To Haves

• Experience in After Effects
• Experience in football, collegiate athletics, or professional sports environments
• Access to own transportation
• Familiarity with Ross Xpression or other Ross systems
• Knowledge of sponsorship activations in live sports environments

Responsibilities

• How an NFL gameday show is pre-planned, organized, constructed, and executed
• How to support live game execution as it’s called LIVE as priorities and situations change on the fly from inside the control room
• How to think creatively about a gameday atmosphere and how to positively add to it with the content you edit
• How to manage relationships across the organization to satisfy department goals and club needs
• How to edit collaboratively with Motion Graphics Artists to achieve a set goal
• How to support music & audio planning for gameday in collaboration with our football staff and Voice of the Fan data
• How to assist with graphics & content workflow in Xpression graphic preparation, crafting, and accuracy proofing
• How to provide an enjoyable experience and atmosphere for fans regardless of team performance
