About The Position

The Premium Hospitality Host will be responsible for supporting the Franchise Sales & Service department for the WNBA Washington Mystics with their Fan Experience. This role will serve as the liaisons between the Sales & Service team and their clients. Hosts will be primarily responsible for overseeing premium hospitality areas and engaging with guests in those respective spaces or activations. Are you upbeat, friendly, and outgoing? Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age with a valid drivers' license.
  • Previous hospitality, sales, customer service experience.
  • Outgoing & bold personality, ability to proactively engage with a passionate sports fan base.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the WNBA, the Washington Mystics' District of Change pillars, and the DMV community.
  • Availability to work at least 12 home games during the 2026 Washington Mystics season.
  • Organized and able to prioritize work and problem solve in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Detail orientated and results driven.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Washington Mystics brand in a professional manner.
  • Serve as a premium brand ambassador in the community. Share knowledge about the organization and sales initiatives generating excitement and awareness for team brands.
  • Assist with staff hospitality spaces and other key areas on game days to help facilitate a positive guest experience.
  • Interact and build a deeper connection to fans and drive qualified sales leads.
  • Lead all aspects of set-up, execution, breakdown, and reporting of interactive elements at home games.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by creating unique touch points, responding to requests or communications in a timely manner, and establishing dynamic relationships with all customers.
  • Attend majority of home games as assigned to support ticket sales efforts and promotional initiatives.
  • Participate in learning opportunities on product offerings, pricing and sales strategies, as well as market trends and industry best processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
