Game Night Staff: Communications (Part-Time/Seasonal)

The part-time Media Relations position will assist the Washington Wizards Public Relations team with game day duties during all Wizards home games throughout the 2026-27 season. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a love for sports, and a passion for supporting the Wizards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Organized with the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast paced work environment.
- Hard working, detail oriented, and results driven.
- Strong communication skills, customer-service oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and on a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Flexibility to work most Wizards home games including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous public relations, communications, or journalism experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with media room and media seating set up.
- Deliver credentials to media.
- Help direct, service, and monitor media throughout the duration of the event.
- Support game day and special event needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
