The Game Day Marketing Associate will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting marketing efforts for a variety of sports and entertainment events, both behind the scenes and on game days. They will develop skills in event preparation, fan engagement, and executing in-game activations. Through collaboration with marketing staff, associates will enhance their abilities in brainstorming, social media and website management, and data analysis. Additionally, they will learn to stay current with industry trends and contribute ideas to improve marketing tactics and fan experiences. This position offers a well-rounded exposure to sports and venue marketing, event execution, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Game Day Associates will assist the marketing department in the preparation and execution of all initiatives, both prior to and in-game, for Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Olympic Sports. Venue Associates will assist in the marketing efforts and promotion of Ryan Center events, including, but not limited to, concerts, comedy shows, trade shows, community events, and URI Athletic events. Additional tasks may include work on larger marketing projects such as data analysis, monthly and annual reports, and development of new marketing tactics. Those hired will work an average of 10 hours per week. Hours may vary contingent on the sports and event calendar. This role will pay an hourly rate of $16.00.
