About The Position

Bring our games to life by creating eye-catching visual effects and animations for Live and Electronic Casino Table Games. Work with a group of exceptionally talented artists and animators creating animations that complement and enhance the Table Game player’s experience. The ability to work quickly and efficiently as part of a team, take direction, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure is crucial.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in 2D/3D animation and/or motion graphic design- exceptions are made with a high caliber portfolio and eloquence that demonstrates knowledge and maturity
  • Enjoy working in a creative environment
  • Have a strong sense of design, motion, and timing
  • Have a strong sense of storyboarding for 2D/3D animation
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Interact and collaborate with immediate team, as well as junior and senior colleagues
  • Ability to receive art direction and provide multiple design solutions
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects , Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior gaming industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in 3D animation and modeling is a plus (Blender or Cinema 4D)
  • Proficiency in compositing and rotoscoping a plus
  • Familiarity with Unity a plus (especially implementing animation and VFX as well as creating VFX in unity)
  • Ability to draw and concept character, props, environment a plus
  • Familiarity with shaders and shader creation/coding a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work with studio leadership and artists to conceptualize and create compelling 2D/3D animations, visual effects, and motion graphics for game logos, symbols, backgrounds, promotional videos, and features.
  • Create previsualizations of VFX and animations.
  • Work closely with the software engineer and development teams to prepare final animations in formats necessary for game integration.
  • Communicate with the game designer and development team in an iterative development process.
  • Maintain well-organized working files to facilitate file sharing and collaborative work.
  • Archive all final working files for future use using version control software.
  • Understand and resolve technical issues relating to graphics (e.g., rendering, streaming, memory management, playback performance, etc.).
