About The Position
Applicant will be responsible for monitoring the Gary R. Libby University Gallery's exhibition space as well as greeting gallery visitors during open hours. Applicant will be responsible for the opening and closing of the Gary R. Libby University Gallery during exhibitions. The gallery is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 10am - 6pm and Saturday 12 - 4pm. The gallery closes for University holidays including spring break as well as during exhibition installations. Applicant will be expected to work approximately 7-10 hrs./week during the semester when the gallery is open.
Requirements
- Must be a student at the University of Florida
- Must be approved for Federal Work Study
- Must be available to work 1-2 Saturdays each month when an exhibition is open
- Must be punctual, reliable and professional
- Must be able to stay throughout the entirety of their assigned times
- Must be willing to interact with Gallery visitors as necessary and follow the Gallery protocols
