About The Position

The Boutique Attendant supports the daily operations of the Gallery boutique, delivering exceptional guest service while assisting the Gallery Manager with retail and clerical functions. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about luxury retail, artisan goods, and guest engagement, with a strong desire to learn and grow within a refined hospitality environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hotel, luxury retail, or customer service environment preferred.
  • Strong interest in artisan goods, fashion, art, and luxury retail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Positive, engaging, and service-oriented personality.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computerized systems.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 45 lbs in various indoor and outdoor climates.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a personalized and engaging guest experience with a focus on service and sales.
  • Develop strong knowledge of artists, products, and the story behind each item.
  • Maintain boutique presentation standards, including visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and product organization.
  • Assist with sales transactions, guest inquiries, and follow-up on waitlisted or special-order items.
  • Support inventory counts, tracking, and basic retail accounting records.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when appropriate.
  • Assist with packing, shipping, and inventory management tasks.
  • Maintain daily journals and communicate updates to the Gallery Manager.
  • Support clerical duties and administrative tasks related to boutique operations.
  • Represent a positive and professional resort image at all times.
