About The Position

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
TCC; CDA; Associate's in Education or equivalent.
Previous experience in preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the Lead Teacher in implementing Georgia’s state-approved Pre-K curriculum to promote each child’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development while maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom that meets DECAL standards.
Help plan and facilitate age-appropriate small- and whole-group activities aligned to GELDS.
Prepare materials and learning centers.
Supervise children to maintain required ratios.
Support daily routines including meals, toileting/potty training, diapering as needed, rest/nap, and indoor/outdoor play.
Use our classroom management and family-communication system to document attendance, activities, and child progress.
Maintain positive, professional communication with families, the Lead Teacher, and program leadership.
Assist with classroom organization, health and safety procedures, and behavior supports.
Collaborate with the Assistant Director and Director on classroom and facility needs.
