About The Position

The Weitz Company is hiring a G-Leader Facilitator to join our Mission Critical team! This person will work on a data center in Council Hill, OK! The G-Leader Facilitator I is responsible for managing, implementing, and administering the project G-Leader program. This includes the teaching and educating of construction site leaders for Weitz and the trade partners. This role will collaborate, provide guidance, and facilitate training needs to internal and external operations staff during the G-Leader process. The G-Leader Facilitator typically reports to the Sr. Project Manager. The Weitz Company has been Building a Better Way since 1855. Requirements

  • A minimum of five (5) years of education or training experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven history of leading others successfully and teaching, developing, and mentoring others.
  • A basic understanding of construction.
  • Experience with personal assessments utilizing standard assessment programs.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a desire to mentor, coach, and develop a team.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to deal with a broad sector of potential learners.
  • Proficient in basic computer software, including Google Office Suite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn job-related software upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Assess the syllabus and training programs. Make recommendations for improvement or change.
  • Develop a standard communication template for notification to selected companies.
  • Establish goals for the program. Identify how to measure success and areas of improvement.
  • Ensure classes are organized. Attendance documented. Program material taught.
  • Assemble graduation documents. Lead graduation celebration.
  • Update the program with improved deliverables. Repeat the process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
