About The Position

In this role, you will provide support on various tasks related to back-office activities in relation to FX transactions executed by RBC Investor Services, Market Services FX Desk consisting of custody and non-custody clients. You will work closely with global counterparts in Malaysia to provide support as part of a follow the sun model to all stakeholders.

Requirements

Knowledge of FX and Custody Products
Solid knowledge of FX Operations specifically for FWDs, SPOTS and Swaps and market practices with particular emphasis on operational processes for such transactions
Strong ability to articulate communications both orally and through email to ensure transparency.
High degree of accuracy and ability to analyze large amounts of data
Strong organization and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under tight timelines and solid time management skills to meet deliverables

Nice To Haves

Minimum 2 years’ related Market Services Operations experience
Knowledge in banking/finance
Relevant experience in Investor Services
Advanced MS Excel skills including Macros/ Pivot tables and VLOOKUP

Responsibilities

Timely execution of various functions within back-office support related to FX order requests including Certificate of Authorized Signatories checks and uploads as per Service Level Agreement and/or FX Operation deliverable.
Investigation of all applicable Task Dashboard items.
Reconciliation and investigation and Monitor and action trade amendment and manual trade in a timely manner.
Ensure all daily tasks and processes pertaining to your function are adhered to in an efficient and timely manner to ensure completion and to mitigate the risk of trade errors/operational loss events.
Maintain solid communication and partnership with global teams in Malaysia to ensure handover tasks are clearly defined.
Adhere to First Time Right processing of FX orders.
Provide superior quality services and efficient business solutions to meet our internal and external clients’ unique market driven needs.
Take necessary action to understand processes to ensure delivery is met within the given timelines as per your mandate.
