About The Position

This position is for a Federal Work-Study (FWS) Student Worker in Campus Admissions, with hiring subject to funding availability and a limited number of openings. The role is multifaceted, involving front desk reception, clerical and general office assistance, general support to admissions staff, providing campus tours, and participating in call campaigns to prospective students. The ideal candidate will be professional, energetic, courteous, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict confidentiality. Casual business attire is required, and the position requires being awarded Work Study as part of the Financial Aid award.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, greet visitors and assist with general questions.
  • Maintain lobby appearance & restocking supplies.
  • Assist with data entry, imaging/scanning and digital filing of student documents, organizing materials, mailing packets to prospective and new students, and other clerical tasks.
  • Assist admissions staff with various tasks and projects.
  • Provide tours to prospective students and their families.
  • Provide support to the campus enrollment team during campus events.
  • Reach out to prospective students to discuss questions, upcoming events, and their application.
