About The Position
The Men’s Basketball Office at South Georgia Technical College is seeking a Federal Work-Study student to assist with game-day and team operations. This role involves supporting various aspects of the team's activities, including filming games, preparing the gym, managing team laundry, operating the game clock, and assisting with equipment. The position offers an opportunity to gain experience in athletic operations while supporting the men's basketball program.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled for Fall Semester 2026 in at least six (6) credit hours.
- Must be approved for Federal Student Aid for the 2026–2027 award year.
- Must be eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program.
- Must be making satisfactory academic progress.
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check and/or other required screening, if applicable.
- Must complete all required State of Georgia and South Georgia Technical College employment paperwork before beginning work.
- Students may not begin working until all required hiring paperwork has been completed and approved.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends and travel with the team to away games as required.
