About The Position

The Future Talent Program features internships that lasts up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Animal Heath Formulation and Analytical Sciences Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. Our product development work is mainly conducted in our laboratories and pilot plant. Projects in our area are focused on new product formulations and processing studies and the development of novel physical and chemical analytical characterization methods. We work on a diverse portfolio of product types for both companion and livestock animals. Projects may also include troubleshooting/resolution of formulation processing and testing problems, demonstration of new and/or improved processes. Work is closely supervised, but requires application of sound scientific principles, theories, concepts, and techniques, as well as competency is working safely in research and manufacturing environment. The incumbent is expected to collect information and develop solutions to specific projects of a limited scope. Assignments may be designed to develop professional knowledge and to provide broad experience and familiarization with Our Company methods, standards, procedures, and practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Enrolled in a College/University Chemical or Biochemical Engineering undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Junior or Senior studying Chemical, Biochemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or Chemistry degree.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills including flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
