The National Academy Foundation (NAF) Future Ready Lab powered by Pratt & Whitney is a unique paid internship opportunity for students at NAF Academies in the West Palm Beach, FL area. Interns will participate in skill-building workshops, gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, and collaborate with team members and mentors on a business project. This six-week paid internship begins in June 2026. NAF FRL Intern projects will focus on Technology and Innovation, involving hands-on work with teams crucial to Pratt & Whitney’s growth through innovation, technology development, and continuous improvement. Interns will integrate new expertise from workshops and professional development events into their projects. The final week will be dedicated to preparing and delivering a professional presentation of key insights and skills to company executives and industry leaders. This specific posting is for the Product Safety, Certification, and Validation Team.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at Forest Hill Community High School
  • Rising seniors (summer between 11th & 12th grade)
  • Minimum of a 2.5 GPA
  • Commitment to all dates and times of the internship
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be a US Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident/"green card" holder)
