About The Position

Help us create beautiful furniture showrooms by joining our Furniture Fair Family as a Visual Merchandiser! This role involves taking direction from the Merchandising Department to lead the flow of furniture and placement of accessory product to the sales floor. You will partner with the Store Manager to coordinate and direct the operations team for the movement and replacement of product on the showroom floor. This position directs product placement of furniture and executes appropriate accessories to highlight the style and flair of furniture displays. You will also originate, implement, and replenish display ideas for everyday accessories when needed, and are responsible for receiving, unpacking, and assembly of new accessory products for assigned showrooms. Additionally, you will generate and attach price and item tags to all appropriate accessory products and be responsible for organizing and displaying an ever-changing mix of merchandise.

Requirements

• Manage multiple, on-going, and high priority assignments at the same time
• Work independently
• Ability to travel to local company showrooms
• Strong communication skills and a good listener
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of style, design and or merchandising experience in retail or comparable field.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift items weighing approximately 25-50+ pounds.
• The employee will be required to unpack product from shipping boxes, assemble products and move to appropriate showroom location for display.
• Ability to walk a 60 thousand square foot showroom and move furniture
• Travel between Miamisburg and Beavercreek, Ohio Furniture Fair Showrooms

Responsibilities
