Furniture Sales Specialist

This is a client-focused sales role — equal parts relationship-building, product expertise, and helping people find furniture they'll love for years. Wenz Interiors is a locally owned, family-operated furniture and design company in Green Bay. We've been in business for over 25 years, and we're focused on one thing: creating exceptional client experiences from the moment someone walks through our door to the day their furniture is delivered and enjoyed in their home. We're a small, tight-knit team where every role matters. You won't get lost here. Your work will directly shape how our clients feel, how our team runs, and what kind of company we continue to build.
Requirements
- Genuinely warm and curious — they listen more than they talk
- Comfortable in a sales environment and motivated by results
- Willing to slow down and really understand a client before pitching a solution
- Competitive in the best way — they want to grow, improve, and earn more
- Flexible and solutions-focused when things don't go exactly to plan
- Excited about home, design, or helping people — or all three
- Previous furniture or retail experience is a plus, but we'll invest in the right person. What we can't teach is work ethic, warmth, and a genuine desire to be excellent.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and build rapport with clients from the moment they walk in
- Run our sales process — really learn what a client needs and make great presentations
- Guide clients through our showroom and product catalog with confidence and knowledge
- Follow up on open opportunities — by phone, email, or in person
- Maintain sharp product knowledge across our curated furniture lines
- Keep your section of the showroom floor organized, clean, and client-ready
- Collaborate with our Sales Support team to ensure orders move smoothly
- Basic design input — helping clients coordinate styles and visualize a room — is a natural part of this role. You don't need a design degree. You need a good eye and genuine enthusiasm for helping people. As you grow in the role, there's a real path into multi-room and higher-value design consultation work alongside our Home Interiors Specialists.
