About The Position

We are seeking Part-time Furniture Outlet Warehouse Associates for our store in Gastonia, NC. Join our team and help us create a delightful place to shop for our customers. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining warehouse inventory. Must be available 20-30 hours per week. Some flexibility within store hours: Mon - Sat 10 AM - 7 PM, Sun 12 PM - 6 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Relevant experience
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and maintain inventory.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Pick and load customer orders into vehicles safely and promptly.
• Utilize the computer system to inquire about merchandise statistics and availability.
• Receive, assemble, repair, and assist with pricing merchandise for the showroom.
• Move furniture set up units into the store showroom.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed in the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.
