About The Position

This position is responsible for the daily inspection of Red Alert orders to ensure no damages and have repairs performed by shop staff if needed. The role involves reviewing customer Red Alert notes to ensure the product meets their requests and contacting customers if there are any discrepancies. Additionally, the inspector must verify the SKU for each customer to ensure the correct product is being sent. This role also includes the added duties of locating and preparing Red Alerts for shipment, which may involve opening factory packaging, moving furniture, and re-wrapping products for safe transport.

Requirements

Must possess an eye for detail.
Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
Strong time management skills are required.
Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality to serve our customers.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Excellent mobility (repetitive bending, lifting, stooping, climbing, pushing, etc.).
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Quality experience a plus.
Prior customer service or warehouse experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Daily inspection of Red Alert orders to ensure no damages.
Perform repairs on Red Alert orders by shop staff if needed.
Review customers R/A notes to ensure the product meets the customers' requests.
Contact customers if there are any discrepancies with the R/a notes and the condition of the product.
Ensure the correct product is being sent to the customer by verifying the SKU for each customer.
Inspection of all Red Alert orders.
Verifying the orders all have the correct products.
Overseeing the repairs of the product and making sure the repairs are up to quality standards.
Reviewing the Red Alert notes for customers concerns/reasons and contacting the customers when needed.
Observing the loading of the Red Alert product to ensure safe handling on to the trailers.
Locating the 3rd or more Red Alerts and stripping them open from the factory wrap if needed.
Moving/placing Dresser, Nightstands, and other furniture on floats.
Using a Kevlar glove and box cutter to remove the factory packaging.
Wrapping up Red Alert products in Bubble wrap (for wood products) and Sofa, & Chair bags (for upholstery products) after inspection and photos are completed.
