Furniture Delivery Helper
About The Position
This position involves assisting the driver with daily routes, carrying furniture into customers’ homes, placing items where they belong, protecting customer property, and representing the company professionally. Some days are easy. Some days are heavy. Some couches apparently believe they are built out of concrete. If you are reliable, physically capable, and able to work as part of a two-person delivery team, this can be a solid opportunity with consistent daily pay, bonus potential, and scheduled raises during your first year. The Helper assists the Driver with loading, unloading, carrying furniture, in-home placement, customer service, and completing deliveries safely and professionally.
Requirements
- Must be dependable and show up on time
- Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and maneuver heavy furniture
- Must be able to work as part of a two-person team
- Must be professional with customers
- Must be comfortable working inside customers’ homes
Nice To Haves
- Prior furniture, appliance, moving, warehouse, or delivery experience is preferred but not required
