About The Position

Sealy Furniture Company is seeking a full-time Furniture Delivery Driver. This role involves delivering and setting up home furnishings for rental and retail customers. The driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading inventory, ensuring it is properly secured, and performing basic furniture repair and maintenance. Additionally, some facilities maintenance and inventory stocking will be required. The position requires a professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

Experience driving a box truck.
Clean driving record.
Must maintain a current driver’s license.
Must maintain current auto insurance.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. upstairs and a distance more than 100 feet.

Responsibilities

Loading and Unloading inventory in a safe manner.
Make sure the inventory is properly loaded and secured.
Deliver and set up complete home furnishings for rental and retail customers.
Maintain a clean appearance suitable for working directly with retail and rental clients.
Build, repair, and clean furniture as needed.
Facilities maintenance as needed (e.g., replace lightbulbs and air filters).
Installation of shelving organizing inventory.
Stocking inventory as it arrives at warehouse.
General cleanup of work area, loading dock, etc.
