About The Position
Join Furniture Mart as a Furniture Delivery Driver and be a key part of our commitment to exceptional customer service. Based in Gretna, LA, you will ensure our beautiful furniture reaches our customers safely and on time.
Requirements
- Valid Chauffer’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in delivery or logistics preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
- Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver furniture to customers' homes.
- Load and unload furniture from delivery vehicles with care.
- Provide excellent customer service during each delivery.
- Inspect and report any damages to furniture prior to delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
